What's Happening at the Youth Center

- Mikura Trip
From July 6-July 9, the Youth Center will be taking a trip down to Mikura Island to go swimming with Dolphins. Members will also be participating in a community service project on the island. The cost of is $400 on/before June 29 and after June 29 the cost will be $420. This trip is for youth in 8th-12th grade. For more information, please contact Mr. Robert Chance at 263-5441. - Tokyo Joypolis - The Camp Zama Youth Center will host a trip to Tokyo's Joypolis on July 17th, 2009. This amusement park has great attractions such as the skateboarding ride which a ride that makes you feel like you're on a skateboard riding the halfpipe. There is also the Dipping Dots Ice cream vendor. The cost for this trip is $40 before July 10th. After that will be $50.
- Tokyo Disneysea - The Camp Zama Youth Center will host a trip to Tokyo's Disneysea on July 15th, 2009. This amusement park has great attractions such as the Indiana Jones ride which a fast ride that makes you feel like you're in the movies. There is also other great attractions and food vendors all over. The cost for this trip is $55 before July 8th. After that will be $65.
- La Qua - The Camp Zama Youth Center will host a trip to La Qua on July 10th, 2009. This is an amusement park at the Tokyo Dome. It has great attractions such as Thunder Dolphin which is one of the fastest and tallest roller coasters around. There is also a great restaurant known as Bubba Gump Shrimp from the movie Forrest Gump. The cost for this trip is $35 before July 3rd. After that will be $45.
- Summer Vacation Begins
Schools out and summer is finally here. The Youth Center will have loads of activities as well as lots of fun and exciting trips. This year, our big summer trip will be to the Mikura Island to swim with Dolphins. There are other exciting trips such as Fujikyu, Disneyland, Canyoning and much more.
