The
Youth Center Tech Lab (YTL) has 15 state of art computers each
with 20" flat screen monitors and wireless optical mouse. Each
computer has Windows XP professional with office 2003 and dozens
of programs such as acid pro (music creator), Photoshop elements and many other education and game software. There are also two 12" writing tablets for the computer artist.
Youth Center members with a parent internet permission form signed can see the
YTL instructor to get their own user account and password to surf the net with
High Speed Internet connection.
2 computers with 2 GB RAM and 240 GB hard drive are set up for our digital arts
program such as digital photography and movie making. The YTL offers both
BGCA and 4-H programs. Classes are given twice a week throughout the school year with other programs offered such as Lego robotics, GPS and STRUT. Tech camps and other programs are offered in the summer. See the calendar for what is happening this month in the tech lab.
Tech Club meetings are held on every Tues from 1530 - 1630 and is open to any
Youth Center member.
ZTN meets every Wednesdays from 1500 - 1730.
